US Actor Justin Long and Kate Bosworth are engaged on 4th April 2023. They announced the news on a podcast where the couple was featured. In the Life Is Short podcast, Justin and Kate both American stars admitted that they got engaged earlier this year after the actor proposed to Kate.
After Kate Bosworth wore a ring to the Vanity Fair Oscar dinner last month, Justin Long and Kate were previously linked. Kate remarked on the podcast episode, “We are embarking on a new chapter,” to which Justin added, “People have been asking because Catherine wore a ring that I gave to her when I asked her — well, not when I asked her, but shortly after I asked her — to marry me.”
In addition to various images of Kate Bosworth, some of which revealed the ring, Justin Long also shared a link to the podcast. His caption read: “I feel eternally grateful that I found a partner who makes each day SO full, whose mere presence IS a reminder of the beauty and brevity of life, and who makes me laugh from the minute we wake up till the one I begrudgingly fall asleep. I cherish the days we’ve had and the ones to come.”

The pair also discussed how counseling helped them through their relationship following a “very difficult” time in their life.

“I remember waking up not so many mornings after that therapy session and I looked at Justin and I said… I smiled at you, and I said, ‘What do you need?’ And he, like, really looked at me and he said, ‘To spend my life with you.’ And I smiled and I said, ‘Well, yeah, you have that. Oh my gosh, you have that,’ and he said, ‘No, I mean I really want to spend my life with you.'”
Before that, on 12th March 2023, Bosworth ignited engagement rumors at the Vanity Fair Oscars party when she was sighted with Long on the red carpet and wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. While collaborating on the slasher movie House of Darkness in 2021, the two became friends. Once the news was announced, Bosworth uploaded a slew of black-and-white photos of them to Instagram with a funny message.
Kate Bosworth Previous Marriage
When Bosworth confirmed that she and husband Michael Polish had called it quits in August 2021, the Los Angeles native and the He’s Just Not That Into You actor was initially linked. Bosworth was repeatedly seen out with Long. The Connecticut native and the Art of More alum also started “liking” each other’s Instagram photos.

Long, on the other hand, disclosed in December 2021 that he was dating an unidentified woman. The stars became friends while filming House of Darkness, and a media reported in January that they had been dating for a “few months.”
