To commemorate a weekend of love, Prince William gathered with old friends in the Cotswold Hills.
According to the media sources 40-year-old, the Prince of Wales attended his ex-girlfriend Rose Farquhar and George Gemmell’s wedding at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Tetbury in Gloucestershire on 17 December 2022.
It was a lovely event, even if the bride and her father came in an Audi A3 when their car broke down.
The source describes the event as “a stunning winter wedding amid the snow.” “After departing the reception in the back of a vintage Land Rover, the bride and groom drove through a tunnel of revelers holding sparklers. In the snow, the Cotswolds are breathtaking!”
Tom Inskip, Jamie Murray Wells, Guy Pelly, Mark Tomlinson, Harry Meade, Natasha Rufus Isaacs, and her husband Rupert Finch, who also happened to be Kate Middleton’s ex-boyfriend, were also present. Olivia Hunt, another ex-girlfriend of Prince William, was also there.
In her 2011 book The Making of a Royal Romance, Kati Nicholl referred to William’s connection with Farquhar, a boyhood friend who also attended his 2011 wedding to 40-year-old Kate as “an innocent, tender romance.”
According to Daily Mail, she is regarded as William’s first serious girlfriend.
Farquhar works on special projects and business development for the Duchess of Rutland’s Belvoir Castle. She studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City. In addition, Farquhar is a singer-songwriter who made an audition for season 5 of The Voice UK in 2016.
William’s public appearance comes following the Netflix launch of Harry & Meghan, a tell-all docuseries about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In the documentary, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex talk about their romance, their love story, and their transition to senior working royals.
The Duke of Sussex, 38, was candid about the brothers’ bond even though a source informed PEOPLE that William and Kate are skipping the docuseries.
The source predicted that it would be a while before the brothers could get along. There is a great deal of rage there.
After William finished his A-levels at Eton College, he first met Farquhar at the Beaufort Polo Club. According to Daily Mail, there was once a report that a farmer had discovered the ex-couples canoodling in a field.
Prince William and Farquhar kept up their friendship even after they separated. She traveled to New York, where she enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Institute’s acting program.
Farquhar is a singer-songwriter who made an appearance on the 2016 season of “The Voice” in the UK. She is presently employed by Belvoir Castle, home of the Duchess of Rutland, in a business development position.
